Starting from the US border drive onward into St. Stephen. Discover Canada's Chocolate Town, home of Ganong Bros Ltd., Canada's oldest candy company, and is the place to "Discover the Wonder of Chocolate". Follow the sweet history of this small-town community, which is also a border crossing from the US in the province. Take a walking tour of the town, through leafy streets where architecture and ambiance set the scene for a visit to the downtown Ganong Chocolatier candy shop. Enjoy a short drive out of town where you will find Ganong Nature Park, a 142-ha (350-acre) natural park, featuring a spectacular coastline that overlooks the St. Croix River. The park has woods, fields, many walking trails, and 73 ha (180 acres) of intertidal areas. Stroll the Riverfront Walking Trail along the scenic St. Croix River and watch for eagles overhead, you may even catch a glimpse of these mighty birds fishing.
Arrive in St. Andrews, one of Canada's most beautiful seaside resorts. Perched on a peninsula jutting into the Bay of Fundy, St. Andrews is an equal parts resort town and adventure haven. Whale-watching is just the beginning. Visit Kingsbrae Gardens and see over 50,000 perennials in many themed gardens including the magnificent sculpture garden. The 27-acre Garden is home to alpacas, goats, peacocks, rabbits, and more. Kids can explore the cedar maze, playhouses, climbing castles, and experience the live ladybug release. Tour the Fundy Discovery Aquarium, which showcases creatures big and small found in the beautiful Bay of Fundy.
