  • Day 1: Arrive in Pape'ete

    Upon arrival in Pape'ete you will be met by a representative for a brief introductory orientation talk.Transfer to your hotel upon arrival. The largest and most lively of The Islands of Tahiti, known simply as Tahiti, lives at the pace of culture, music and dance. Attend an enchanting Tahitian dance show called 'ori Tahiti', or visit a contemporary art exhibition, an unusual play, a traditional or modern concert. Tahiti, and especially Pape'ete, provide the opportunity to discover artistic expression of all kinds.Join a scenic Tahiti Island tour starting with the island's West Coast and the famous Marae Arahurahu, a religious site dedicated to the ancient gods where important ceremonies used to take place. We then visit the beautiful gardens and waterfall of Vaipahi set in a lush tropical environment. Not missing the East Coast and its Blow Hole, a natural site recently refurbished for visitors and Venus Point, where Captain James Cook landed. We wrap up our island tour with a breathtaking panoramic view at the Tahar'aa View Point.

  • Day 2: Pape'ete to Mo'orea

    You will be transferred to the Ferry Terminal in Pape'ete, from where you take a ferry to the beautiful island of Mo'orea and a transfer to your accommodation for the next four nights. Mo'orea rises magically out of the ocean like a cathedral. High, sharp, inspiring green spires, crowned by clouds. Poetic threads of waterfalls tumble down fern-softened cliffs. Peaceful meadows flanked by pinnacles of emerald green will renew your belief in the majesty of nature, and Mo'orea's bright blue lagoon will bring to life the South Seas idyll of your dreams. Pastel-painted houses, surrounded by gardens of hibiscus and birds of paradise, circle the island in a necklace of happy, simple villages that will elevate your senses and remind you that this is what life is all about. La vie heureuse, as they say in Tahiti, a happy life. One of the most memorable locations in The Islands of Tahiti, Mo'orea's beauty is unforgettable.

  • Day 3: Mo'orea sightseeing

    Come and spend the day with a Mo'orea local who will show you all the best spots on the island. Mountains, waterfalls, private beach and other wonders await you! You will start the day getting to know each other and then drive to the Magic Mountain, one of the best panoramic viewpoints of the island. Then you head towards the crater of the island where the pineapple fields are located. You then drive to the Belvedere, the highest point of view of Mo'orea where you enjoy the landscape with a fresh coconut in hand!The "marae" will be our next stop where your guide will talk to you about our Polynesian culture which is very important for Tahitians. You end the morning at the Tropical Garden where you visit a Vanilla plantation and learn the secrets about local plants. Now that I have whetted your appetite, you will go to Temae so you can share, on a private beach, a typical Polynesian meal with some punch, local beers, water and tropical juices. After lunch, you can enjoy a little bit of free time to walk on the beach, collect some shells or have a swim in crystal clear water.To end this beautiful day, we will head towards Afareaitu where an easy little hike (15 minutes) will take you to one of the waterfalls of the valley.Your guide's mission is to show you all the different aspects that Mo'orea that has to offer and that you get to know the island almost as well as the locals!!

  • Day 4: Mo'orea sightseeing

    Dolphin and/or Whale Watching Excursion. This is an exciting and educational guided tour where you will see dolphins in their natural environment. You will see pods of Spinner Dolphins and learn about their behaviour and social organisation. You can also bask in the beauty of Mo'orea Island and learn about its geology. Whales come to Polynesia's warm waters from August to October/November to mate and give birth. Getting up close and personal with these wild sea mammals is an unforgettable experience. The wellbeing of the creature is our top priority and your guide will decide how best to proceed.

  • Day 5: Guided snorkelling Tour of Mo'orea

    This 2-hour tour provides an excellent first secure approach to the wildlife of the lagoon of Mo'orea. After a short bus ride from your hotel to Vaiare pier, you will continue by boat to the east coast, until the Lagoonarium at Motu Ahi. Supervised by a qualified instructor, you will meet a multitude of tropical fish (Surgeons, Parrotfish, Butterfly fish, Demoiselles etc), jackfish, stingrays and black tip sharks"¦.watch Teiki, their "Daddy", feed and play with all of them. A real show not to be missed! Discover as well the small Motu Ahi, a place fitted out in any old way, a world apart. Later, there is free time for you to hire a guide for walking explorations of the interior and over mountain passes and with no malls here, shop at the many small boutiques and unique shopping areas. Look for art and handcrafts at small art galleries and artisan workshops where you'll find treasures made only in Mo'orea. Experience one of the many Polynesian shows and see the beachside performances of the dramatic Fire Dances.

  • Day 6: Mo'orea to Bora Bora

    Transfer to the Mo'orea Airport followed by a flight from Mo'orea to Bora Bora. Transfer from the Bora Bora Airport to your accommodation for the next three nights.Simply put, Bora Bora is one of the most beautiful islands in the world.The Islands of Tahiti exude a power of life that makes each experience in these islands unforgettable. The Tahitians call this power "Mana". You will feel it ripple up your spine the moment you step off the plane. It will fill your soul. You will taste it and smell it in the air. You will depart for a circle island tour by 4WD through the mountain trails to several viewpoints on the lagoon and the village of Vaitape, including the site where you can still see the remains of World war II cannons and bunkers. Lunch will take place in the typical décor of Bloody Mary's restaurant. Continue the day with a snorkeling safari in the beautiful lagoon of Bora Bora to discover its underwater treasures.

    Bora Bora's lagoon is an underwater world that hosts manta rays, sharks and gentle Napoleon wrasses, which will welcome you while scuba diving, helmet diving or viewing from a glass-bottom boat. There are many opportunities to explore the lagoon, the motu and the ocean. You can circle the island by water or jump on jetskis or waterskis.Take sail in a catamaran for a sunset cruise accompanied by local musicians and dancers or climb onboard a helicopter for a breathtaking ride high above this neon-colored world. Discover the dozens of shopping areas for art, handicrafts, pearls, and fragrant Tahitian oils and visit the artisan galleries and pick up your own Bora Bora original.Spend the afternoon enjoying famous Matira Beach or the secluded beaches on one of the many islets surrounding Bora Bora. There will be time to snorkel in the clear waters around the resorts, hire a dive master to learn to dive or explore the sunken vessels and coral walls.     Transfer to the Bora Bora Airport and fly from Bora Bora to Raiatea. Transfer from the Raiatea Airport to your accommodation for the next two nights.Raiatea is an incredible natural source of interest for scientists and nature lovers due to its rare flora and fauna species. Mount Temehani shelters the tiare 'apetahi, a flower found nowhere else in the world. It has become the symbol for Raiatea. This half-circle white and delicate flower only blooms at dawn.Raiatea also shelters the only navigable river in French Polynesia. Legend says that the river would have been the departure point of all Polynesian migrations to Hawaii and New Zealand.We suggest you visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Marae Taputapuatea and go on a hike on mount Temehani to discover the endemic Tiare Apetahi flower. Shop local souvenirs and delicacies at the Uturoa market and drive along the quiet circle-island roads stopping at villages. Visit a vanilla plantation since over 80% of Tahiti's harvest of this world-famous spice is grown here and visit an agricultural sugar cane rum distillery.

  • Day 10: Taha'a day tour including moto Lunch

    Visit Raiatea's sister island, Taha'a and its colourful coral garden hosting thousands of fishes. Also visit a pearl farm, a vanilla plantation where you will learn how it is grown and then dried to reveal the typical aroma. A delicious lunch will be served on a motu. A busy day full of discovery is waiting for you!

Our tours are suitable for all age demographics. The average age of travelers is typically 45+

There are options for single travelers to join most tours. Solo Travelers can choose to pay the single supplement and have their own room throughout the tour. For those willing to share, we also have a Twin Share option that is offered for the majority of our tours. This means you will be sharing the hotel rooms with another single, same gender traveller who also books the Twin Share option. If this is the case, there will be no single supplement charged to either of you. If we are unable to match you with another Twin Share traveler, there may be a single surcharge applied to cover the full cost of the rooms on some of our longer tours. Please enquire before finalizing your booking for full details.

This tour has a low level of physical demand, although there may be some activities or sightseeing tours that require walking short distances. Please inquire if you have any mobility restrictions before completing your booking to ensure this tour is right for you.

Each passenger may bring one large suitcase and one carry-on bag. The weight limit for this suitcase is 32 kilograms/60 pounds. Baggage handling is provided at the hotels in our tour packages. Please advise our reservations staff if you will be bringing additional items such as a cane, walker or wheelchair. You may also bring one small soft-sided carry-on bag, which should easily fit into the overhead shelf of the coach. Each person is responsible for his/her own carryon luggage. Remember to check your airline baggage restrictions if you are flying, as they may differ from Anderson Vacations Tours guidelines.

The suggested allowance for non-included meals is $40.00 — $60.00 CAD per day (includes tipping).

Yes! There are many meals included on our fully escorted tours. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking so we can ensure there are alternative meal choices and arrangements made for you.

For your convenience, gratuities for local guides and meals stated on the itinerary are included in the price of the tour. For meals not included in your tour package please remember that it is customary to tip your server 15-20% in North America. Gratuities for your Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director are left to your discretion. Booking & Flight Questions

Yes! We can certainly assist with booking airport transfers for you! Some tours have airport transfers included already. Please inquire for further information and pricing.

Yes! We can certainly assist with booking your flights for you! We do not recommend you book any flights until you receive your booking confirmation directly from Anderson Vacations Tours, as some tours are not pre-guaranteed. Please inquire for further information and pricing.

Yes, it is possible to book triple share accommodations on select trips. Please inquire about this option, as pricing may also vary and it will be subject to availability.

Tour Questions

Our tours are suitable for all age demographics. The average age of travelers is typically 45+

There are options for single travelers to join most tours. Solo Travelers can choose to pay the single supplement and have their own room throughout the tour. For those willing to share, we also have a Twin Share option that is offered for the majority of our tours. This means you will be sharing the hotel rooms with another single, same gender traveller who also books the Twin Share option. If this is the case, there will be no single supplement charged to either of you. If we are unable to match you with another Twin Share traveler, there may be a single surcharge applied to cover the full cost of the rooms on some of our longer tours. Please enquire before finalizing your booking for full details.

This tour has a low level of physical demand, although there may be some activities or sightseeing tours that require walking short distances. Please inquire if you have any mobility restrictions before completing your booking to ensure this tour is right for you.

Each passenger may bring one large suitcase and one carry-on bag. The weight limit for this suitcase is 32 kilograms/60 pounds. Baggage handling is provided at the hotels in our tour packages. Please advise our reservations staff if you will be bringing additional items such as a cane, walker or wheelchair. You may also bring one small soft-sided carry-on bag, which should easily fit into the overhead shelf of the coach. Each person is responsible for his/her own carryon luggage. Remember to check your airline baggage restrictions if you are flying, as they may differ from Anderson Vacations Tours guidelines.

The suggested allowance for non-included meals is $40.00 — $60.00 CAD per day (includes tipping).

Yes! There are many meals included on our fully escorted tours. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions at the time of booking so we can ensure there are alternative meal choices and arrangements made for you.

For your convenience, gratuities for local guides and meals stated on the itinerary are included in the price of the tour. For meals not included in your tour package please remember that it is customary to tip your server 15-20% in North America. Gratuities for your Motorcoach Driver and Tour Director are left to your discretion. We recommend $4.00 - $5.00 CAD per person, per day for your Motorcoach Driver and $6.00 - $7.00 CAD per person, per day for your Tour Director. if you can't find your
